les are not touching the ground, measure and com-
pare distance “A” (FIG. 49-1) with TABLE 49-1 to
determine the correct shim.

3. Fold the ipover and platform. Then, raise the
platform to position shown in FIG. 49-2A.
4. Use TABLE 49-1 to select the correct
size shim from the parts box. Weld
shim to pin as shown in FIG. 49-2B.

CAUTION
To protect the original paint system, a
3” wide area of paint must be removed
from all sides of the weld area before
welding.
CAUTION
When using an electric welder, connect
the welder to one of the parts being
welded, as close to the weld as pos-
sible. Failure to comply could result in
damage to cylinders and electrical parts.
