Pocket PC remote control*
Problem Possible cause Suggested solution
You have switched on your Pocket PC
but do not automatically see the main
menu (i.e. the program does not start).
The Pocket PC turns itself off automati-
cally.
The battery is discharged. Charge the battery for a few minutes
(
page 310).
Switch on your Pocket PC ( page 313) or
(
page 316).
The battery is completely discharged.
The Pocket PC memory has been
erased.
Charge the battery for a few minutes
(
page 310).
Switch on your Pocket PC ( page 313) or
(
page 316) and follow the instructions
which appear in the display.
The Pocket PC is automatically restarted
and the software is re-installed. Be sure not
to interrupt this process. After a brief peri-
od, the Bluetooth wireless connection is re-
established. (This can take up to two min-
utes.) Afterward, you will see the main
menu in the display.
Pocket PC no longer functions
although:
the ignition is switched on

the Pocket PC battery is charged

the Pocket PC is inside the vehicle
Your Pocket PC has an undefined
status.
