What to do if …

DISTRONIC
EXTERNAL MALFUNCTION
REACTIVATE
Distronic** is switched off and is tem-
porarily unavailable.
Try activating Distronic** again later.
DRIVE TO WORKSHOP!
Distronic** is malfunctioning or the
display is malfunctioning.
Visit an authorized Maybach Studio as soon
as possible.
CURRENTLY
UNAVAILABLE
SEE OPERATORS MANUAL
Distronic** is switched off because:
the Distronic** cover in the front
bumper is dirty.
the functionality is impaired due
to heavy rain.
Clean if necessary the Distronic** cover in
the front bumper (
page 378).
Restart the vehicle.
Or
Distronic** becomes operational again with-
out re-starting the engine if:
dirt comes off during driving (e.g. slush or
snow)
the system recognizes full sensor availabili-
ty (due to lessening rain or the road surface
drying)
the message disappears from the multi-
function display
you see the speed last stored blink in the
display for five seconds.
You can now use Distronic** normally.
