If you slide the child safety lock to the
lock position before closing that door,
the door cannot be opened from the
inside. The door can be opened only
by lifting the outside handle.

Keyless Entry System*
This system locks and unlocks the
doors and opens the trunk.
CAUTION

To avoid damaging the transmitter,
don’t drop it, get it wet, or expose
it to heat or sunlight.

• The keyless entry system is
designed to operate up to about
2.5 meters (8 feet) from the
center of the vehicle, but this
may vary because of local
conditions.
• The system doesn’t operate
when the ignition switch is in
the ON position.
