      William SmithSep 8, 2025
If coffee only drips through, the grinding fineness might be too fine. Set the grinding fineness coarser. Also, clean the brewing unit and descale if necessary. If needed, run the integrated cleaning program.

Why is my Melitta Coffee Maker grinder not grinding coffee beans?
    • K
      Kevin HallSep 10, 2025
If the grinder isn't grinding beans, it may be because the beans aren't dropping into the grinder, potentially due to them being too oily. Try tapping lightly on the bean container. Also, check if the tilt lever is vertical and move it to the right or left. If there are foreign objects in the grinder, call the hotline.

      William CrawfordSep 12, 2025
If the brewing unit can't be reinserted after removal, ensure the handle for locking the brewing unit is correctly engaged. Also, the actuator might not be in the proper position. To fix this, switch the appliance off and on again, then press the buttons for one- and two-cup dispensing simultaneously for longer than 2 seconds. The actuator moves into position. Then reinsert the brewing unit and make sure it is correctly locked into place.
