10.2 Energy-saving mode
After the last action, the appliance automatically (depending on the set-
tings) switches to energy-saving mode (the appliance thus consumes much
less energy than in standby mode). You can set di󰘯erent times for the
energy-saving mode. The appliance is factory-set at 5 minutes .
Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see
89 „Switching on and o󰘯“ ).
Please adjust the timer as follows:
• Simultaneously press the button for one-cup dispensing and
the button for two-cup dispensing for more than 2 seconds.
→ The standby symbol is 󰘱ashing rapidly.
• Press button for one-cup dispensing twice to call up the menu
for the energy-saving mode.
→ The symbol for the water tank illuminates.
• Press the brewing co󰘯ee button several times to select from
four possible times for the timer.

• Press the ON/OFF button to con󰘰rm the selected time.
