7 Preparing espresso or café crème
7.1 Preparing one cup of espresso or café crème
Prerequisite: The appliance must be ready for operation (see
89 „Switching on and o󰘯“ ).
• Place a suitable vessel under the outlet.
• Press the button for co󰘯ee strength to adjust the co󰘯ee
strength.
• Turn the co󰘯ee quantity regulator (Fig. A, no. 4) to adjust the
dispensed quantity.
• Press the button for one-cup dispensing .
→ The grinding process and co󰘯ee dispensing now start. The standby
symbol is 󰘱ashing. Dispensing ends automatically when the set
dispensed quantity is reached.
• To interrupt co󰘯ee dispensing, press the button for one-cup dis-
pensing .
Notes
– When the appliance is started up for the 󰘰rst time, the grinder
will grind longer than usual.
– You can also adjust the dispensed quantity during the dispen-
sing process. To dispense less co󰘯ee, turn the co󰘯ee quantity
regulator to the left to the desired quantity, or turn it until the
appliance stops dispensing. To dispense more co󰘯ee, turn the
regulator to the right.
