11 Care and maintenance
11.1 General cleaning
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and
ordinary dishwashing liquid.
• Empty and clean the drip tray (Fig. A, no. 1) regularly; at the
latest, however, when the oat projects out of the cup plate.
• Clean the coee grounds container regularly.
• Cleaning the milk shower: Turn the milk shower o in the direc-
tion indicated by the arrow (Fig. F) and rinse it thoroughly under
running water.
Caution!
– To avoid damage to the appliance surface, do not use scouring
cloths, sponges or cleaning products.
– Do not clean the drip tray in the dishwasher; this could cause
deformation.
Note
The coee grounds container (Fig. A, no. 1) is dishwasher-safe
and can be washed in the dishwasher. Frequent washing in the
dishwasher can cause slight discolorations on the coee grounds
container.
