nated. The device is ready for operation and water hardness is automatically
set to hardness level 1.

After inserting the Melitta –

water filter excess active charcoal will
be washed out of the filter the first time the appliance is rinsed out. This
can cause the rinse water to appear slightly grey in colour. The water will
then clear.
