Rinsing the steam pipe: •
Fill a vessel halfway with clean water and hold the vessel under the steam
pipe.
Ensure that the tip of the steam pipe is immersed in the water.
Open the valve for about five seconds and then close it again.
After 30 seconds, the appliance switches automatically from steam mode •
to normal operating mode. Press the button for steam dispensing
to
switch to the normal operating mode prematurely.
Notes
We recommend using cold milk with a high protein content. It is not the –
fat content, but rather the protein content that is the determining factor
for good milk froth.
The steam nozzle should be rinsed regularly to ensure its proper func- –
tioning, see page 69.
