Siren Enabled
The Siren Enabled option will activate the horn in the VesselView to accompany the on‑screen pop‑up fault. Unchecking this
box will disable the horn for fault pop‑ups.
Wireless
The Wireless setting allows the operator to connect the VesselView unit to the internet via a wireless dongle which is inserted
into the USB port on the rear of the display. Refer to Section 4 Updating through a WiFi Connection.
Personality File
The Vessel Personality is made up of all of the selections and preferences that are set within the VesselView unit. This
personality can be saved on the internal storage or downloaded to an external device for use on other vessels with the same
general vessel characteristics.
Importing a vessel personality is achieved by inserting a USB drive into the back of the unit and selecting the personality file.
Exporting the personality file is achieved by selecting the export option and choosing the destination for the file, either on the
internal storage or to a USB drive connected to the VesselView unit.
