STARTINGANDDRIVING
HillHoldControl(HHC)isacomfortfunction.Itworks
oninclineswhenthecardetectsithascometoa'standstill
status'.Oncetheclutchpedalhasbeenpresseddownand
thebrakepedalreleased,thevehiclewillmaintainpressure
inthebrakingsystemfor1~2seconds.Afterthis,the
HillHoldwillrelease.HHCassiststhedriverby'holding'
thevehicleduringhillstarts.
ThefollowingconditionsmustbefullledtoactivateHHC:
•Stopthevehicleonaslopeinexcessof3%andformore
than2seconds.
•SCSisactiveandfaultfree.
•Parkingbrakeisreleased.
•Clutchpedalispressed.
•IgnitionisON.
•Sufcientbrakepedalapplicationforcehasbeenapplied.
Ifthedriverreleasesthebrakepedalonahill,HHCwill
maintainbrakepressurefor1~2seconds.Ifthevehicle
failstopullawaywithinthistimethebrakepressurewillbe
released.Thismaycausethevehicleto'roll'.Inthiscase
thebrakepedalmustbere-applied.
