Whenthevehicleisinmotion,DONOT
switchofftheignitionorremovethekey,
otherwisethesteeringwheelmaybelocked,
makingitimpossibletoturnthevehicle.
Whenthevehicleisinmotion,DONOT
touchthekeytoavoidengineameout!
Theignitionswitchislocatedontherightsideofthe
steeringcolumn.Functionofeachpositionisasfollows:
PositionLOCK/OFF
•Thekeycanbeinsertedorremoved.
•Aftertheengineisstoppedandthekeyisremoved,
turnthesteeringwheeltoonesidetolockthesteering
wheel.
PositionACC
•Theengineisnotstartedandthekeycannotbe
removed.
•Someindividualelectricalequipmentandaccessories
canbeoperated,suchaspowerwindows,electric
rearviewmirrors.
PositionON/RUN
•Allelectricalequipmentisoperational.
•Afterthevehicleisstarted,theengineruns.
PositionSTART
•Startengine.Whentheengineisstarting,some
electricalequipmentwillbeisolatedduringcranking.
