ofcontrol,preventtheABSfromfunctioning
correctly,andmayevencausedamageto
therearbrakes.
Theparkingbrakeoperatesontherearwheelsonly.T o
applytheparkingbrake,pulltheleverup.Alwaysapplythe
parkingbrakefullywheneveryouparkthecar.
T orelease,pulltheleverupslightly,pressthebutton
(arrowedinillustration)andfullylowerthelever.When
parkingonasteepslope,donotrelyontheparkingbrake
alonetoholdthecar.
