Thefollowinginformationisveryimportant,pleaseread
carefullybeforeuse.
•Beforestartingtheengine,placethegearleverinPor
Nposition,ensurethefootbrakeispressedandthe
parkingbrakeisapplied.
•Aftertheenginehasstarted,ensurethefootbrakeand
parkingbrakeareapplied,shiftthelevertotherequired
gear.
•Releasetheparkingbrakeandholdthefootbrake
untilyouarereadytomanoeuvrethevehicle.Once
thefootbrakeisreleased,onatroad,thevehicle
willautomaticallystartoffataslowspeedwithout
applicationoftheaccelerator.
•DonotmovethegearshiftleverintoPorRfrom
Dwhilstdriving,thiswillcauseseveretransmission
damageorcauseanaccident.
Note:Thegearshiftlevercannotbemovedfromthe
Ppositionifthebatteryisdisconnected,carhasno
power,keyisnotinsertedintotheignitionswitchor
footbrakeisnotapplied.
Inanemergencyifthegearshiftleverwillnotmove
fromthePposition,pleasecontactanMGAuthorised
Repairer.
