Thesystemisdesignedtocontrolthevehiclespeedto
within+/-1.5mph(2km/h)oftheinputtedtargetspeed.
However,thefeaturedoesnotincorporatevehiclebraking
assist,thereforeiftheASLsystemisattemptingtocontrol
vehiclespeedonasteepdownhillinclinetheinertiaof
thevehiclemayforcethevehiclespeedovertheintended
targetspeed.
Ifatanytimethevehiclespeedincreases2mph(3km/h)
morethanthedesiredtargetspeedthesysteminformsthe
userwithcontinuousvisualandperiodicaudiblewarnings.
Oncethedesiredtargetspeedhasbeenmaintainedthe
warningsareremoved.
