TheActiveSpeedLimit(ASL)systemisdesignedtocontrol
thevehiclespeedkeepingitbelowaspeedsetbythedriver.
TheASLsystemsharesthesameleverswitchasthecruise
controlsystem,locatedtotheleftofthesteeringwheel
belowtheindicatorstalk.Theswitchcanbetoggled
betweenbothfunctions,howeveronlyonefunctioncan
operateatanyonetime.

ThedesiredtargetspeedoftheASLsystemisdisplayedin
theinstrumentinformationcluster,referto"Information
Centre"inthe"InstrumentsandControls"section.With
theignitionswitchinpositionONandtheleverswitchin
"ASLStandby"(7ingure),theASLfunctionisinstandby
modebydefault,brieymovingtheleverswitchup/down
(1,2)adjuststhetargetspeedoftheASL.Therangeof
targetspeedadjustmentis20-130mph.
Thetargetspeedlimitvaluewillbeincreasedordecreased
by5mpheverytimetheleverswitchisbrieymoved
upwardsordownwards.
