fullyoperationalandisnotaffectedbypartialor
fulllossofABS.However,thebrakingdistancesmay
increase.
EmergencyBrakingHazardWarningLights
Control(HAZ)
Ifthevehicleistravellinginexcessof31mph(50km/h)
andthedrivermakesanemergencybrakingmanoeuvre,
thehazardlightswillbeoperatedtoindicatethistoother
drivers.
Note:Ifthehazardwarninglightsarebeingoperated
manually,thissuspendstheHAZfunction.
Whentheemergencybrakingmanoeuvreisexited(no
severedecelerationdetected)thenthefunctionwillbe
switchedoffafterafewseconds.
ActiveRolloverProtection(ARP)
ARPsystemisjustakindofsafe-assistant
device,whichcannotpossiblysurpassthe
physicslawstoguaranteethevehiclefrom
rollover.
Incasethatthevehiclewithhighcentreofmassdueto
dual-directionlane-changemayrollover ,ARPbrakesthe
outsidewheelstounder-steer,therebypreventingthe
vehiclefromrollover.
Note:WithARPinuse,thevehicleunder-steersandit
isnormalifitfailstosteerfullyaccordingtotheintent
ofthedriverduringtheoperationofARP .
