Whenthecruisecontrolisactive,the'targetspeed'canbe
increasedordecreased:
Pushtheleverswitchupwards(1ingure),thiswill
increasethespeed.
Pushtheleverswitchdownwards(2ingure),thiswill
decreasethespeed.
Releasetheleverswitchwhenthedesiredspeedisreached.
Pushtheleverswitchupwardsordownwardsbrieyto
increase/decreasethevehicletargetspeedinincrements
of1mph/1km/h,thenthevehiclewillaccelerate/decelerate
tothenewtargetspeed.
Pressingtheacceleratoratanytimewilloverridethecruise
controlandallowaccelerationtoundertakemanoeuvres
suchasovertaking.Releasingtheacceleratorwillreturn
thevehicletothesettargetspeed.
Pause/StandBy
Cruisecontrolwillbedisengagedandsetto'Standby'if:
•Leverswitchmovedto'CruiseCancel'position(3in
gure).
•Brakepedalpressed.
•AutogearlevermovedtoP ,RorN.
•Manualgear-changemade.
•Clutchpedalpressed.
•ConditionsinitiateSCSintervention.
•Aninclinecausesexcessivedeclineinspeed.

Ifthecruisecontrolremainsonafterthedisengagement,
movingtheleverswitchto'CruiseResume'(5ingure)
willreinstatethetargetspeedtothesettingpriorto
disengagement.
