Note:Thesetspeedheldinthecruisecontrolmemory
willbecancelledwheneitherthecruisecontrolleveris
switchedto"ASLInStandby"position(gure7)orthe
ignitionswitchturnedoff.
T argetCruiseSpeedAdjustment
Whenthecruisecontrolisactive,the'targetspeed'canbe
increasedordecreased:
Pushtheleverswitchupwards(1ingure),thiswill
increasethespeed.
Pushtheleverswitchdownwards(2ingure),thiswill
decreasethespeed.
Releasetheleverswitchwhenthedesiredspeedisreached.
Pushtheleverswitchupwardsordownwardsbrieyto
increase/decreasethevehicletargetspeedinincrements
of1mph/1km/h,thenthevehiclewillaccelerate/decelerate
tothenewtargetspeed.
Pressingtheacceleratoratanytimewilloverridethecruise
controlandallowaccelerationtoundertakemanoeuvres
suchasovertaking.Releasingtheacceleratorwillreturn
thevehicletothesettargetspeed.
Pause/StandBy
Cruisecontrolwillbedisengagedandsetto'Standby'if:
Leverswitchmovedto'CruiseCancel'position(3in
gure).
Brakepedalpressed.
AutogearlevermovedtoP ,RorN.
Manualgear-changemade.
Clutchpedalpressed.
ConditionsinitiateSCSintervention.
Aninclinecausesexcessivedeclineinspeed.
Resume
Ifthecruisecontrolremainsonafterthedisengagement,
movingtheleverswitchto'CruiseResume'(5ingure)
willreinstatethetargetspeedtothesettingpriorto
disengagement.
