extinguisheswhenitisfullyreleased.Iftheparkingbrake
isnotreleased,whenthevehiclespeedexceeds3mph
(5km/h),thiswarninglampwillash,accompaniedbyan
audiblewarning.
Ifthelampremainsonaftertheparkingbrakehasbeen
released,itindicatesthatthereisafailureinthebraking
system.PleaseseekanMGAuthorisedRepaireratthe
earliestopportunity.Checkbrakeuidlevel(referto
"BrakeFluidCheckandRell"underthe"Serviceand
Maintenance"section).Ifthelampremainson,stopthe
carassoonassafetypermitsandseekanMGAuthorised
Repairerattheearliestopportunity.

Theindicatorlampisusedtoindicateany
failuredetectedbytheenginemanagementsystemwhich
seriouslyaffectstheengineperformance.Withtheignition
switchintheONposition,thislampilluminatestoconduct
asystemself-checkandextinguishesuponthecompletion.
Thislampwillilluminateifafailurethatmayaffectthe
engineperformanceoccursduringdriving.Pleaseseekan
MGAuthorisedRepairerattheearliestopportunity.
