4.5 Calibration
The calibration of the control sensor is traceable to national standards. Calibrated
replacement control sensors can be ordered from Michell Instruments, or the system can
be adjusted with respect to any other hygrometer by means of the internal calibration
correction routine (see section 3.4.5.4).
A fi ve-point calibration certifi cate for the internal HygroSmart HS3 control sensor is
provided as standard with each instrument. In addition to this, the system is tested
as a whole at three points against a reference chilled mirror hygrometer. It is possible
to request the HygroCal100 with UKAS certifi cation, contact your Michell Instruments
representative for further information.
