Step 3: Connecting the Scanner
To the Power Adapter
1. Connect the power adapter to the back of the scanner.
2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet or other power
source.
To the Hi-Speed USB Cable
3. Connect one end of the Hi-Speed USB cable to your computer.
4. Connect the other end of the Hi-Speed USB cable to the scanner’s USB port.
5. Open top cover (Document Feed Tray) to
turn on the scanner.
Once the scanner is detected by your
system, the LED (green) will brighten, and
the scanner is ready to scan.
