9. Lower belt wiper frame assembly (J) by loosening
the screws (I) on hopper discharge end. On dual
sided machines repeat this step on both discharge
ends.
10. On both discharge ends, lower belt wiper frame
assembly (J) by unwinding the screws (I) on hopper
front and back sides.
11. Start engine. Pull E-stop button (B) to middle
position. Toggle belt start button (K) to start belt.
Turn conveyor speed controller (H) to slowly rotate
belt until belt splice hinge (L) is positioned outward
on drive roller as shown.
12. Turn off machine.
13. Loosen jam nuts (M) on both front and back side
of hopper.
14. Unwind square head set screw (N) on both front and
back side of hopper to reduce belt tension. Number
of turns on both setscrews must be equal to ensure
that drive roller center line is at same distance from
frame edges on both front and back side.
15. Remove master links (P) on both front and back
chains of belt.
