1. Without intermediate shelf or base panel
To ensure sufficient ventilation to the hob, a minimum safety distance must be left
between the underside of the hob and any drawer or oven.
The minimum safety distance between the underside

of the hob and:
- Upper edge of drawer: ≥ 5 mm
- Base of drawer: ≥ 75 mm
- Upper edge of oven: ≥ 15 mm

The underside is the outside of the hob casing. Other items that are attached
lower down, such as connection boxes and shims, do not count as the lowest
point and are not relevant when calculating the minimum safety distance.
2. Intermediate shelf
The dimensions in brackets are recommendations.
