Dispensing phase
The dispensing phase is the program segment in a Profitronic M wash
program in which the programmer can activate the dispenser pumps. The
programmer can program 2 dispenser phases in a program block, dispenser
phase 1 before the Thermostop and dispenser phase 2 after the possible
Thermostop, i.e. after possible heating in the program block. In each
dispensing phase up to 6 out of 13 dispenser pumps can be activated.
Dispenser pump
System to dispense a liquid or paste dispensing agent. There are various
different technical types and designs, e.g., peristaltic and membrane pumps.
The dispensing rates are different. Activation of the dispenser pumps with
Profitronic M machines is via the control and relays on a multifunction module
EZL 235 (interface with an additional subassembly). The user must program
the dispensing rate of the dispenser pump before using the machine. If the
dispensing rate is known, it can be set directly. If the dispensing rate is
unknown, dispenser calibration must be carried out and the figure can be set.
To achieve correct results, measurements should be carried out with the
agent to be used at ambient temperature and the hoses to be used.
Dispensing
The programmer selects the connected dispenser pump out of a list of 13.
The dispenser pump is allocated a dispensing time in seconds or a
dispensing rate (in mL, mL/kg or mL/L) depending on the fill type in the
program header. Similarly the dispenser pump is allocated a dispensing delay
in seconds. Before dispensing, the programmer must have programmed the
dispensing rate or have carried out dispenser calibration.
Dispensing delay
Time in seconds from the start of the dispensing phase until the dispenser
pump for which this delay is programmed starts. The feature is used, for
example, to treat laundry gently by first letting water enter the machine before
the control adds an aggressive dispensed agent, or to add 2 dispensed
agents after each other during one dispensing phase. The dispensing delay
can be between 0 seconds and a maximum of 999 seconds. It can be
programmed in steps of 1 second.
Dispensing time
Switch-on duration/active time of a dispenser pump in seconds.
Dispensing rate
Quantity dispensed by a dispenser pump per time unit, here mL/min.
Free liquor
Proportion of the total suds quantity that remains after the bound liquor has
been subtracted. The free liquor acts to dissolve the released soil or hold it in
suspension.
Fill type
Setting option in program header of a Profitronic M wash program. Selects
the way that water intake is controlled. For further details, see below.
Load-to-liquor ratio kg/L
