A fault message appears in the display.
Problem Possible cause and remedy
Container empty One of the detergent containers for external dosing is
empty.
Refill the detergent containers.
Hygiene info: run a
programme of at least 60°C
During the last wash, a wash programme with a
temperature below 60°C or the Drain/Spinprogramme
was selected.
Start a programme with a minimum temperature of 60°C
or the Clean machine programme.
F - Water intake fault. If
machine restart is
unsuccessful, call Miele.
The hot water supply is blocked or restricted.
Check whether the hot water supply has been turned on
properly.
Check whether the inlet hose is kinked.
Laundry not properly spun. The selected spin speed was not reached during the final
spin due to excessive imbalance.
Check that the washing machine is standing level.
Start the spin cycle again.
Machine is leaking The washing machine or the drain valve is leaking.
Turn off the tap.
Call Miele.
