The flow pressure must amount to a minimum of 100kPa and must
not exceed 1000kPa. If the flow pressure is higher than 1000kPa, a
pressure reducing valve must be used.
The machine must be connected to the water supply using the inlet
hoses provided.
The connection points are subject to water supply pressure.
Turn on the tap slowly and check for leaks. Correct the position of
the seal and union if necessary.
Use of backflow
prevention
devices
This appliance must be connected to the water supply in accordance
with local and national requirements (e.g. Plumbing code of Australia
(PCA)). This appliance must be installed according to AS/NZS 3500.1
and AS/NZS 3500.2. This washing machine has been supplied with a
separate backflow prevention device (dual check valve). The dual
check valve supplied separately with this product must be installed
between the tap and the water inlet hose.
Screw the dual check valve onto the tap.
Screw the water inlet hose onto the thread of the dual check valve.
Turn on the tap gradually to test for leaks. If there is a leak, the
connection might not be on securely, or it may have been screwed
on at an angle. Unscrew and reconnect the water correctly before
tightening it.
Health risk and risk of damage due to contaminated incoming
water.
The quality of the water used must correspond to the drinking
water specification of the country in which the appliance is being
operated.
Always connect the washing machine to potable water.
