Electrical connection
The electrical connection must only be carried out by a suitably
qualified electrician in accordance with local and national regulations.
A residual current device (RCD) typeB (sensitive to universal
current) must be used if one is being installed.
The electrical components of the machine comply with EN60335-1,
EN50571.
See data plate for voltage data.
If the machine is hard wired, an all-pole isolator must be installed.
Switches with a minimum contact gap greater than 3mm are suitable
isolators. These include circuit breakers, fuses, and contactors.
The plug connector or isolator switch should be easily accessible at
all times.
If the appliance is disconnected from the electricity supply, the
isolator must be lockable or the point of disconnection must be
monitored at all times.
Preventing hazards
If the mains connection cable for this machine is damaged, it must
be replaced by the manufacturer, Miele Professional Service or a
similarly qualified person.
Observe the enclosed wiring diagram.
Reference to external appliances
A reference to external hardware appears.
Confirm with the OK symbol.
If using a Connector Box, connect it before initial commissioning.
The washing machine must be disconnected from the mains for this
purpose. Then start the commissioning process.
Optional accessories
Only use genuine Miele spare parts and accessories with this
machine.
Using spare parts or accessories from other manufacturers will
invalidate the warranty, and Miele cannot accept liability.
Connector Box
The Connector Box allows external hardware from Miele and other
suppliers to be connected to the Miele Professional washing
machine.
The Connector Box is supplied with mains voltage by the Miele
Professional machine.
The separately available set consists of the Connector Box and
fasteners for installation on the machine or on the wall.
