7. Choose Exit.
8. If the module is a dual input (such as a CT2), choose Device 2 and repeat steps 4
through 7 for Device 2.
9. Choose Exit and Save Edits.
10. Repeat steps 2 through 9 for every module in the system.
11. After the last Save Edits, press Menu on the panel front.
This brings you back the SLIC menu.
12. Choose Exit from the SLIC menu.
This returns you to the Configure menu.
At this point, all detector and module information as well as the basic system parameters
have been entered. You could Exit from the programming mode and you’d have a general
alarm system, complete with device descriptions. But for this example we are going to
program the panel further, by setting up zones and output groups, which we’ll then
correlate to each other. This process is discussed next.
