Insertion, deletion, and step numbers
There will not be any change in the step number when an instruction is rewritten.
When a deletion is executed, however, the program steps
of
the program after the deletion in-
struction are automatically decremented.
When an insertion is executed, the step numbers
of
the instructions after the inserted instruction
