Function
The feed wheel drive assembly provides power to the top feed wheel. The
drive assembly consists of the chain, bushing, sprocket, hydraulic motor, and
the chain guard.
Use
The feed wheel chain drive is housed inside the chain guard. Never remove
the chain guard unless you are changing, servicing or cleaning the
components inside the guard. To remove the chain guard, loosen and
remove the bolts and washers on the sides of the guard. Lift the guard off
the machine. Always replace the chain guard and secure with the bolts and
washers after the work is completed.

• Inspect components for wear or damage
Feed Wheel Drive
Moving components will cause serious injury or death. Do
not operate without the guards in place. Do not attempt to
touch, check, clean, or adjust the chain during operation.
