5. Insert the hitch clip into the hole at the end of the yoke locking pin.
6. Check that the hitch clip is securely in place by pulling on the handle
of the yoke locking pin, and attempt to remove it. Maintenance on the
feed wheel area may begin after the machine is locked out and the
yoke locking pin is securely in place.
Safety Lockout Instructions:
To Lockout the Yoke:
1. Make sure your chipper is securely attached to a tow vehicle and all
pressure is off the tongue jack.
2. Remove jack from tongue, place on jack attachment tube under feed
wheel, insert jack attachment tube into adjoining hole through the
yoke belt shield.
3. With jack securely in place, rotate jack handle until you can insert
yoke locking pin through yoke base in locked position.
4. The yoke locking pin is located beside the infeed chute. Insert it all
the way through the yoke locking pin holes on both sides of the
infeed housing.
