Removing and Replacing the Battery Shield
To remove the battery shield
1. Ensure the phone is turned off.
2. Remove the battery door.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the USIM.
5. Remove the rear housing.
6. Using tweezers, release the locking tabs by separating the rear housing wall
from the battery shield.
7. Lift the battery shield out from the rear housing.
To Replace the Battery Shield
1. Align the transceiver board with the rear housing and press it in place.
2. Replace the transceiver board, rear housing, USIM, battery, and battery door
as described in the procedures.
