3. Carefully remove the flip assembly from the left knuckle on the front housing.
Use extreme caution when removing the display flex from the front housing
(see Figure 13).
4. To replace, slide the flex connector through the narrow opening on the front of
the front housing.
5. Insert the left side of the flip assembly into the left knuckle on the front
housing.
6. Carefully bend the right knuckle on the front housing to insert the flip hinge
into the right knuckle. Ensure that the flip opens and closes easily.
7. Replace the transceiver board assembly, rear housing, antenna, SIM, battery,
and battery cover as described in the procedures.

The flexible printed cable (FPC) (flex) is easily damaged. Exercise extreme care when
handling.
