4.3 Calibration
General
The calibration must be done at regular intervals in accordance with applicable na-
tional and regional regulations.
The device is calibrated at the factory. Nevertheless, it is recommended to re-
calibrate the device after installation. The frequency of calibration depends on the
duration of use and the chemical exposure of the sensor. New sensors must be
calibrated frequently until it is clear from the calibration data that they have stabi-
lised. Suitable regulators and pipes for calibration must be used.

Warning!
The test gases used for calibration are possibly posing a health risk.
Proper ventilation or extraction has to be ensured.
A calibration cap is recommended for sensor calibration,
flow rate 1l/ min [± 20%].
Connect power to the device at least one hour before attempting a cal-
ibration.
Carry out the calibration during commissioning as well as at regular in-
tervals. This ensures optimum operation of the sensor.
