4. Attach the cables to the Cable Guide. See Figure 8.6.
5. Slide the Chute Deflector onto the Discharge Chute.
NOTE: Do not apply grease to the inside surface of the
Chute Deflector or the outside surface of the Dis-
charge Chute.
6. Install the carriage bolts and nuts that hold the Chute
Deflector to the Discharge Chute.
NOTE: Thread the nuts on to the carriage bolts until a cou-
ple of threads stick out past the nylon locking fea-
ture. Do not over tighten the nuts.
7. Install the screw that anchors the Cable Guide to the
Discharge Chute.
8. Test run the snow thrower in a safe area before
returning it to service.
