Excitation sense Switches S1-6 and S1-7 select the local (on board) or remote (through a
cable) excitation sensor connection.
• The local selection is used with 4-wire transducer connections.
• The remote selection is used with 8-wire transducer connections.
• Switch S1-7 configures the + excitation signal.
• Switch S1-6 configures the – excitation signal.
• Both switches need to be set for the same configuration.
Single ended

Jumper W8 connects -EX to ground for situations requiring single-
ended excitation.
