10.2.3 Dispose of chemicals
WARNING
Chemical burn hazard!
Acidic cleansers are caustic. Caustic effects are NOT noticed im-
mediately.
Contact with the skin can cause burns.
¾ Wear the prescribed personal protective equipment when han-
dling cleansers.
¾ Observe the manufacturer's instructions.
WARNING
Fire hazard!
Alcohol-based disinfectants are highly flammable.
Fire, naked light or smoking ignites the disinfectant and can thus
cause fires.
¾ When disinfecting the machine, flames or naked lights are pro-
hibited.
¾ Smoking is prohibited.
¾ Observe the instructions of the disinfectant manufacturer.
¾ Handle cleansers and disinfectants properly and dispose of them
in a professional manner.
