Atinitialstart-uporwhenrestartingafteraservicestop,themainpowerswitchmusthavebeenonforatleast12
hoursbeforestarting.Thisisnecessarytoremoveanyicebuild-upinsidetheunit.

Beforestartingtheunit,thereactivationairinletandwetairoutletmustbethoroughlychecked.Anyicemustbe
removed.Toavoidmalfunction,itisimportanttohaveclearairpassagethroughouttheductwork.
Whentheunitisinstalledintothefreezerandthereactivationcircuitisconnected,theconnectionshave
tobeblockeduntiltheunitcanbestarted.Ifthisisnotdonethereisriskthattherewillbeicebuildupin
thereactivationpiping.
Beforestartingtheunit,makesurethatthereactivationductingisfreeofice.
Powermustbeconnectedtotheunitassoonaspossibletokeepthereactivationfanfreeofice(heater
inside).
Unlessthepowerisconnectedimmediatelyuponinstallation,waitaminimumof12hourspriortothestart
oftheunit.
5.5.2Start
1.Ensurethepowerconnectedindicatorisilluminated
2.OperatethemodeswitchontheOperator´spaneltotheMANposition.
NOTE!Thereactivationairfanandreactivationheaterwillstartimmediatelyandwillberunningforapprox.5
minutesbeforetheprocessairfanandthedrivemotorfortherotorstartoperating.
3.Checkthatthefollowingindicatorsareon:
■Powerconnectedindicator
■Unitrunningindicator
■Bothreactivationheaterindicators
■Processandreactivationairfanindicators
■Drivemotorindicator
4.Allowtheunittorunforapproximately10minutestoensurethattheoperatingconditionshave
stabilizedandcheckthatthereactivationheaterisoperating(temperatureindicatordisplaysreactivation
airtemperature).
NOTE!IfthereactivationairtemperatureisnotindicatedatallordoesnotreachabovetherstquarteroftheLED
bargraphthereasonmightbethattheairowistoohigh.SeeAirowCheckandAdjustment.
5.5.3Restartafterpowerfailure
Whenthepowerisremovedfromtheunit,orthereisaunitstopduetoaunitmalfunction,thereactivation
owandheaterisalsostopped.
