J8 – Positive Emergency Stop
J8 - is the positive emergency stop. From the factory there is a loop from terminal 1 to terminal
2. The controller will power up, but will not operate the relays without this connection. If your
application requires a true positive emergency stop, we recommend that you install a normally
closed type switch between terminals 1 & 2. In the event of an emergency stop, actuating the
switch will remove power to the relays which will then return to their un-powered state.
NOTE: Be aware that the iGCON software tool cannot update the
operating firmware unless the J8 jumper is either open or removed
