  If the ignitor works but the knob blue lights don’t illuminate when turn on the light switch and the knob red lights also don’t illuminate when turn on the gas burners on your Napoleon Grill, connect the knob light wire connector to the main wire connector inside of the control panel. If that doesn’t work, replace the light switch, the wire harness of the control panel, or the batteries.

What to do if illuminations work but side/rear burner ignition does not work on Napoleon PRESTIGE 500?

  If the illuminations of the knob and switch work fine but the side/rear burner ignition does not work on your Napoleon Grill, replace the ignitor switch if the switch light illuminates when you turn the light switch on. Check the switch connection inside the control panel if there’s no illumination on the switch when you turn it on. Replace the ignitor block if the ignitor switch illuminates and sparking noise can’t be heard.

What to do if the infrared burner flashes back on my Napoleon PRESTIGE 500?

  If your Napoleon Grill's infrared burner flashes back, turn it off and let it cool for at least two minutes. Then, relight it and burn on high for at least five minutes until the ceramic tiles glow red evenly. Make sure that objects or accessories cover no more than 75% of the grill surface. If the issue continues, inspect the burner for cracks after it cools down. If cracks are found, contact your Napoleon dealer for a replacement.
