HEADSETS

Connecting a Headset

A system phone user can utilise a customer-provided headset in place of the handset. Like using

Handsfree, using the headset frees up the user’s hands for other work. However, Headset Operation

provides privacy not available from handsfree.

The headset plugs into a separate RJ11 (4/4way) on the bottom of the phone. This allows the use of the

handset or headset - whichever is convenient at the time.

Note that the headset socket is not available on the DSLT phone.

Simply connect the headset into the headset socket located on the bottom of the system phone.

To use the headset set a spare function to headset mode (function code 05), Refer to Headset in the

Software Manual for further detail.
