Overview
The system (see Figure 2-1) is a modular,
multiprocessing server based on the Intel
Pentium® II
chip set. The chassis and system board have been
designed to meet the needs of the server marketplace.
The combination of compute performance, memory
capacity, and integrated I/O provides a high
performance environment for many applications
including network servers, multi-user systems, and
computer-aided design/computer-aided engineering
(CAD/CAE) applications.
As application requirements increase, you can expand
your server with additional memory, add-in boards and
peripheral devices: tape and hard disk drives.
