1-4 Getting to Know Your NEC Versa 4000
Controls and microphone
■ Microphone — allows you to record monophonic sound
directly into your notebook computer.
■ Power LED
 Lights green when the system is powered on.
 Blinks green when the system is in Suspend mode.
 Blinks yellow to indicate that battery power is low.
■ Suspend Button — press the Suspend button to put the
unit into Suspend mode or to resume operation mode.
■ LCD Panel Sensor— senses when the LCD panel is
closed and turns off the panel.
■ Power Button — slide the power button to power on and
off the notebook computer.
