2-8 Using the Hardware
DC Car Adapter
The NEC Versa 4000 can run on car battery power using
the optional DC car adapter from NEC.
1. Disconnect the AC adapter from the system if connected.
2. Plug the appropriate end of the car DC adapter into the
power port on the system.
3. Connect the plug of the DC car adapter to a car cigarette
lighter.

The NEC Versa 4000 keyboard is equipped with many
features. They include the following:
