3. N-20P only: During the self-test, check whether PR ON or
PR OFF is displayed. To turn the printer on (or off), press ^
the printer ONbutton. Ifthe printer wasoffat power- ^,
down, it will be off at the next power-up; if it was on at
power-down, it will be on at the next power-up. ^
4. To turn the N-20/N-20P off before the measurement cycle
ends, rapidly press the measure button two times.
TURNING BEEPER OFF (OR ON)
Rapidly press the battery check button two times to turn the
constant-pitch beeper off (or on). The beeper is always on at
power-up. v®/
BATTERY OPERATION
To check the level of charge remaining in the battery, with the
N-20/N-20P turned on, hold the battery check button down for
2 seconds. The percentage of lighted segments in the pulse
amplitude indicator approximates the battery charge; all
segments light with fully charged batteries.
When the LOW BATTERY indicator lights continuously, the
printer is automatically disabled. When the indicator begins
blinking, approximately one
hour of battery life remains.
