WARRANTY
Nellcor warrants to the initial purchaser ("Purchaser") of each
new NELLCOR N-20/N-20P (the "Warranted Product")
purchased from Nellcor or a Nellcor-authorized distributor that
Nellcor will repair or replace the Warranted Product to the
extent deemed reasonably necessary by Nellcor to remedy any
defects in workmanship or materials reported by Purchaser
during the "Warranty Period." The Warranty Period is one year
from the date of initial shipment to the Purchaser. This
warranty period shall apply to all accessories and attachments
which are included and packaged with the Warranted Product
as standard items except that: a) the warranty period for the
DURASENSOR oxygen transducer is stated within the written
warranty provided with that product and b) no warranty is
given as to disposable or patient-dedicated items (including
OXISENSOR oxygen transducers) or extension cables. Repair
or replacement of Products under this warranty does not
extend the warranty period. (Products which are not new are
subject to warranties expressly provided in connection with the
sale of such products.)
To request repair or replacement under this warranty,
Purchaser must contact Nellcor or a Nellcor-authorized
distributor to request a returned goods authorization. Inside
the U.S., contact Nellcor Incorporated, 1-800-NELLCOR.
Outside the U.S., contact the local Nellcor office or Nellcor
authorized distributor. Nellcor offices are listed in the
beginning of this product manual.
Nellcor shall determine whether to repair or replace Products
and parts covered by this warranty and all Products or parts
replaced shall become Nellcor's property. In the course of
warranty service, Nellcor may, but shall not be required to,
make engineering improvements to the Warranted Product or
part thereof.
