SELECTING A SENSOR
WARNING: Use only NELLCOR oxygen transducers. Use
of other oxygen transducers may cause improper
oximeter performance.
WARNING: Before use, carefully read sensor directions
for use.
NELLCOR sensors are briefly described in Table 1. To select
the appropriate sensor, consider the patient's weight, activity
level, perfiision, which sensor sites are available, whether
sterility is required, and the duration of monitoring.
