Guide to Operation
Loss of pulse is handled as follows:
• The PULSE SEARCH indicator flashes if no pulse is
detected for 3 seconds or for the period during which five
pulses would be expected (whichever is longer). The last
valid measurement continues to be displayed.
• The displays go to zero if no pulse is detected for
10 seconds.
• The N-20/N-20P turns off if no pulse is detected for
3 minutes.
Changing Operating Mode
In the spot-check mode, hold the measure button down for
3 seconds to change to extended mode.
