NEOX User manual - Edition 03-2016 41
GEARBOX F8.11
Your Neox is equipped with a gearbox that is more similar to that found on a motorcy-
cle/car than a normal bicycle gear system. IT is equipped with an innovative gearbox,
with rotary engagement and with electric controls on the handlebars.
The bike has 4 or 8 sequential speeds available, depending on the model purchased.
Nothing could be more simple for the user. Gear changes can be made while stationary
and/or during movement, without any restriction for the user.
Like all innovations, this system needs to be understood so that you can quickly take
advantage of all the benefits that the system presents.
Below are some advice and tips.
introduction
The Neox gearbox has 4 or 8 speeds available, depending on the model purchased.
Gear 1 (lowest gear)
The pedalling resistance decreases and the speed achieved is lower, but it is easier to
climb hills.
4/8 gear (highest gear):
the resistance to pedalling is increased and the speed achieved is higher.
First we shall describe dierence between CHANGE and CLIMB.
The gear change is performed by pressing the electric buttons on the right side of the
handlebars. (Fig.1)
The right button increases the gear, the left button decreases the gear.
